Resource limitations to be defined when creating an account (hosting) are managed from this section. In this section of WHM, you can create, edit, and delete packages by pre-defining and naming the limitations. Thanks to the packages you create, you can apply resource limitations by selecting existing packages when creating an account. It consists of four sections;

Add a Package
After entering the package name and specifying the package features below, clicking add will create your package with the desired limits. Important note: if you have created a reseller account with specific features (10 domains – 40 GB disk – 100 GB traffic), packages must be created within these limits. If you create packages with random limits instead, you will get an error when trying to add a new account to the package after exceeding your reseller limits.

Package Name: You can enter the name of the package you will create in this field. For example; Host1, Host2, Linux1, Linux2, Win1, Win2, Package1, Package2, etc.
Disk Quota: You must enter the disk quota for the package you will create in MB. If you select “Unlimited” instead, the disk space of the package will be unlimited.
Note: The unlimited concept covers the free space of the hard disk on the server you are using. If your server has 500 GB of free space and an unlimited user tries to store 501 GB of data, it will return an error.
Monthly bandwidth: You must enter the traffic (bandwidth) limit that the package will be allowed to use within a month. If you select “Unlimited”, the package will have no traffic limit.
Traffic (bandwidth) is the term given to the transfer of pages, downloadable files, and viewable files on a website to visitors.
Max FTP Accounts: You must enter the maximum number of FTP accounts the package can open. It is generally used as 1, but you can give more than one. It allows logging into different folders within the same host with different FTP credentials. If you select “Unlimited”, you grant unlimited FTP account creation for the package.
Max Email Accounts: You can enter the maximum number of email accounts the package is allowed to open. If you select “Unlimited”, the package will have unlimited email account creation permission.
Max Email Lists: You can enter the maximum number of mailing lists the package is allowed to create. If you select “Unlimited”, the package will have unlimited mailing list creation permission.
Max Databases: You can enter the maximum number of databases the package is allowed to create. If you select “Unlimited”, the hosting owner with this package can create an unlimited number of databases.
Max Sub Domains: You can enter the maximum number of subdomains the package is allowed to create. If you select “Unlimited”, the package can open and use an unlimited number of subdomains.
Max Parked Domains: You can enter the value indicating how many domains can be parked for the package. If you select “Unlimited”, the package can park unlimited domains.
Max Addon Domains: You can enter the value for how many addon domains the package is allowed to add. If you select “Unlimited”, the package can add an unlimited number of domains.
Maximum Hourly Email by Domain Relayed: You can enter the maximum number of emails allowed to be sent per hour for the package. If you select “Unlimited”, the hosting owner with this package will have unlimited email sending permission.
Maximum percentage of failed or deferred messages a domain may send per hour: This field allows you to specify the percentage of failed or deferred emails sent by the hosting account with this package. The value you specify will be treated as a percentage (entering 20 means 20%). If failed or deferred emails fall within this percentage, emails to be sent in that time period cannot be sent. “Unlimited” is used by default.
Options: The following settings are available here.
Dedicated IP: Assigned IP. Unchecked by default.
Shell Access: You need to check this field to grant command-line server access. Unchecked by default.
Frontpage Extensions: You need to check this field for Microsoft Frontpage support. Unchecked by default.
CGI Access: You need to check this field to run CGI scripts. Checked by default.
Digest Authentication at account creation: This field must be checked for digest authentication during account creation. Unchecked by default.
cPanel Theme: This field contains cPanel theme options. The cPanel theme you select for the package will be the default cPanel for hosting users.
Feature List: If you want to use the features managed from the Feature Manager section, this field should remain as default; if you do not want them used, select disable.
Locale: You can select the language to be used in cPanel from this field.
Delete a Package
This is the section where we delete the packages we have created.

Edit a Package
This is the section that allows us to edit the package we have created. An important note: changes made to the package will not take effect on the sites within the package. Therefore, we can re-assign the relevant sites to the same package to make the changes active.
