We start the installation by selecting the installation language.

We continue with the Install Ubuntu Server option.

We select the operating system language.

We make the region selection. Other/Asia/Turkey

We select the locale settings; since Turkey is not available, we select US.

We can skip keyboard detection.

We select the keyboard language.

We continue without making any changes.

We continue to be able to configure our IP address settings.

Configure manually.

We enter our IP address.


The gateway address will be defined automatically.

We enter our DNS addresses and continue.

We complete the hostname definition and continue.

We determine a username and continue.

We continue.

We set the server password.

We continue with the No option.

The disk configuration process must be done manually.

We select the disk and continue.

Since we will create new partitions, we say yes.

We go to the empty section and press enter, then perform the following operations in order.

Create a new partition

After the Create a new partition operation, apply the following steps in order.
- Type 200 MB and continue,
- Select Logical and continue,
- Select Beginning and continue,
- Select Mount Point: /boot, then select Done setting up the partition and continue.
- To create other partitions, click on the free space on the disk again and continue from create partition.
- Type 2048MB and continue,
- Select Logical and continue,
- Select Beginning and continue,
- Select Use As: swap area, then select Done setting up the partition and continue,
- To create other partitions, click on the free space on the disk again and continue from create partition.
- Do not change the remaining size and continue,
- Select Logical and continue,
- Select Beginning and continue,
- Select setting up the partition without making any changes and continue,
- Then select Finish partition at the bottom and press Enter to complete partitioning. Click Yes on the warning screen that appears and the files are loading.
- Proxy is generally left blank, select continue and proceed.

We decide whether to enable automatic updates and continue.

We select Open SSH server and continue.

We install the GRUB Boot loader. An important point: when installing the grub loader, we must select the system disk; if we select a different disk, it may be impossible to recover when our disks or system are corrupted.

The installation process has started and will take approximately 20 minutes. Afterwards, we restart our server and complete the Ubuntu installation.
