Mail sending can sometimes be difficult due to the outgoing mail IP address being blacklisted. To overcome this difficulty, it may be necessary to first stop the spam outflow and change the outgoing mail IP when the IP address cannot be removed from the blacklist.
In this article, we will show how to change the outgoing mail IP in the Plesk panel running on Linux.
To be able to change the outgoing mail IP, you must be using postfix as the mail service and there must be more than one IP address already added and shared on the server.
Tools & Settings -> Mail Server Settings -> Outgoing Mail Mode field allows you to select the desired configuration.

Send from domain IP addresses
With this option, each domain will send from the IP address assigned to it. When the domain’s IP address changes, the outgoing mail IP will also change. If more than one domain is on a single IP address, all domains will send from that IP address.
Send from domain IP addresses and use domain names in SMTP greeting
Same as above, except the sending domain name is shown during SMTP output. When multiple domains send from the same IP address, the probability of messages going to spam is higher. Additionally, when 100 or more domains are hosted, this option causes high resource consumption. Although not mandatory, having a separate IP address for each domain and having PTR records entered in this option will allow the system to operate more healthily.
Send from the specified IP addresses
All domains, whether on a dedicated IP or not, will send mail from the specified IP address.
After making the selection and saving, Plesk will make the necessary adjustments in the background and your outgoing mail IP address will have changed.
