In hosting services, you may sometimes want your emails to run on a different server. In such cases, users can redirect emails to a different server by changing the MX record through the
control panel. In cPanel, this can be done through the WHM panel, or it can also be done by the end user through cPanel.
To redirect the MX record, first log in to cPanel via siteaddress.com:2082 with your user credentials.
After logging in, go to the MX Entry section under Mail in the main menu.

In the MX Entry section, there are 3 areas that concern us: Domain, Email Routing, and Add a New Record. First, select from the dropdown menu which domain you want to redirect the MX record for. If you want your
emails to run on the same server in your hosting service, the Local Mail Exchanger section must be selected.
However, if we want the emails to run on a different server, we need to write the MX record information given to us by the company from which we get mail service into the Destination field in the “Add a New Record” section. The
Priority field means precedence — this value is also given to you by your mail service provider. After entering this information, select the Automatically Detect Configuration option from above and save. If the data we entered is
correct, our MX redirection is complete and our emails will now run through the server we redirected to.
